SoapBlox, the software platform used by ProgressiveHistorians during its first year of operation, has suffered a serious hacker attack. I've posted my thoughts on the matter here -- essentially arguing that SoapBlox founder Paul Preston is more responsible for the results of the hack than other commentators have acknowledged.

Not terse. Two sites I blog on use Blox. Run those sites through the code checker and they turn up hundreds of coding errors. In other words, Blox code sucks. Not surprising someone should hack into it.

To be fair, this site also tuurns up hundreds of coding errors, ones I had neither the time nor the knowledge to correct.
