  1. Just one question: how seriously are you taking the "progressive outlook" qualification? We do have one eclectic conservative on the masthead now, and I personally think that's worked out very well for all concerned. Do you wish to continue that experiment, or are you trying to recenter the blog around progressive voices?

Also, at some point you might want to redo the blogroll a bit. I realized that a number of people on there are there because they're blogfriends of mine. You might want to make over the roll in your own image.

  2. Re: blogroll--yeah, I can't decide how to do that. Part of me think I just can it all and repopulate it. But right now I'm going through each one to get a better handle on it.

As for "progressive outlook," I hadn't thought about it much. Who's the centrist? lol

  3. That's Mark (Zenpundit). Actually more of a conservative than a centrist -- but an interesting guy nevertheless.

  4. Depending on how you define "progressive".... Mark's military theory stuff is definitely forward-thinking.

  5. Thank you for the kind words. My conservatism is indeed eclectic and that tends to aggravate the purist-minded among the paleocons, neocons and libertarians. Clausewitzians don't care for my views much either, despite my not being particularly anti-Clausewitz.

Orthodoxy is something that is best avoided. Dulls the mind.
