    Of the various attempts to be thought-provoking I've seen over the last week regarding the various anniversaries and Veteran's Day, this is the best. Opinions may vary, of course, but I do think the "patriotic" erasure of the difference between state, citizen and military is one of the most dangerous deep-running themes of modernity.
